These terms apply to mavorandrixa.info and to Lanternfin, the browser game published on it. Using the site means you accept them. They are short because the site is simple: nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for, nothing to deposit.

1. Who publishes this

2. Who the game is for

Lanternfin is a general-audience arcade game intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not designed for, marketed to, or directed at children under 13, and we make no claim that it suits every age group. If you are under 13, please do not use this site.

If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you may use the site freely; nothing here asks for personal information, money, or a decision an adult would need to make for you.

3. A game of skill — not a gambling product, not a slot machine

Stated plainly, because the setting is sunken treasure and pirates:

• There are no reels, no spins, no paylines, no multipliers and no bonus rounds. Lanternfin is a swimming game.
• There is no wager, stake, deposit, purchase or entry fee of any kind.
• There is no virtual currency, no balance, no cash-out and no prize. Nothing collected in the game has value outside it.
• No outcome is decided by a random draw that pays out. Doubloons, pearls and chests are worth a fixed number of points every single time; only where the treasure sits in the water varies, and only so that no two dives are identical.
• Your score depends on where you swim. That is the whole game.

Lanternfin is not a casino game, a social casino game, a simulated gambling product or a demonstration of one, and it does not link to any.

4. What you may do

Play it as much as you like, free, without an account. You may link to any page here. You may take screenshots and record video of your own play, including for a monetised channel, without asking us first.

5. What you may not do

• Copy the game's code, artwork or text and publish it as your own, or host a copy on another domain, without written permission.
• Sell access to the game or put it behind a paywall.
• Attack the site or its host, or disrupt other people's use of it.
• Hammer the site with automated requests. Ordinary crawling is welcome.
• Present a modified version of the site as the original.

Scores live only in your own browser and are not published or ranked anywhere, so editing your own saved score harms nobody and we cannot see it. There is no leaderboard to cheat on.

6. Ownership

The game code, the scene it draws, the site design and the text on these pages belong to the publisher named in section 1 unless stated otherwise. The name Lanternfin and the site's mark are ours. These terms transfer none of it to you.

7. Availability and changes

The site is offered as it is. We may change the game, retune its difficulty, edit these pages or take the site offline at any time, without notice and without owing anyone anything. This is not a paid service or a subscription.

8. No warranty

The site and the game are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. Browsers differ; older ones may not run the game at all.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, including lost time, lost scores, or a device that misbehaves while the page is open. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Since the site is free and collects nothing, any liability that does arise is limited to what you paid to use it, which is nothing.

10. Links out

These pages link to Google's privacy policy and Google's ad settings, both from the privacy policy. We do not control those pages and are not responsible for them.

11. Privacy

How this site handles data — including the fact that it is promoted with paid advertising, and exactly what that means for you — is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [jurisdiction], and the courts of [jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim in the country where you live.

13. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date and version at the top change with them. Continuing to use the site afterwards means you accept the new version.
